Our regional chapters do democracy at the community level.
What do regional chapters do? Here are some of the many things they work on:
Local Lobbying: Our regional chapters are encouraged to regularly meet with legislators in their regions at their district offices and discuss our campaigns!
Political Education + Trainings: Political education is integral towards our movement, and we are always continuing education at MarchOnHarrisburg. Regional chapters organize (and attend!) educational trainings such as: Ranked Choice Voting presentations, Civics 101, Lobbying 101, and more!
Writing Letters to the Editor: Flooding local papers as part of a statewide LTE drive is a vital way to inform the public and influence decision makers!
Hosting + organizing local events: In order for us to build up the Democracy movement, we need to be out in the community raising awareness of our issues and of our path to winning. Regional chapters flyer, table, billboard, and do other base-building initiatives to support the movement.
