Foreign billionaires and foreign governments are spending unlimited amounts of money influencing Pennsylvania elections through owning a stake in U.S Corporations. HB2433 would ban multi-national corporations from spending in Pennsylvania elections. It was passed out of the house, and now the ball is in the Senate’s court.

HB2433 is a historic bill that would ban 98% of S&P corporations from spending millions of dollars in Pennsylvania elections.

As Senate president, Kim Ward is the most powerful person in the Pennsylvania Legislature. She controls what does and what doesn’t get a vote in the Senate. She has not committed to stopping Foreign interference in our elections and passing HB 2433.

Foreign interests are using a Citizens United loophole to spend unlimited amounts of money in our elections in Pennsylvania. The Supreme Court’s 2010 Citizens United Decision created a disastrous loophole that allows foreign billionaires and foreign governments to influence our elections by owning stock in politically active “USA based” corporations.
98% of S&P 500 companies — like Uber, Exxon, and Amazon — are considered foreign influenced corporations.
