MarchOnHarrisburg Education Fund is our 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that focuses on growing our volunteer base through grassroots and digital organizing, political education, and projects of survival. MarchonHarrisburg Inc is our 501(c)(4) organization which focuses on lobbying for our bills in each of our active campaigns.

Our goal this year is to raise $400,000. We hope to double our two person staff and cover our expenses.

FUNDRAISING IS ORGANIZING
Whether it means mobilizing hundreds of people to give in small amounts or moving large checks from the monied to the movement, fundraising is about organizing people and organizing money. We all bear responsibility in this, which is why volunteer and staff fundraisers train MarchOnHarrisburg members to build their fundraising skills.

A monetary contribution is only one way to give to the movement. Many folks choose to give their time by doing everything from creating social media content to on-the-ground flyering to phone banking.

WE DO NOT CHANGE WHO WE ARE FOR FUNDERS
We are a movement of people and we let that show, dressing for funder meetings in the same way we’d dress for a training. We recognize that philanthropy has long been used as a tool to uphold capitalism and white supremacist culture. We resist the power that philanthropy attempts to hold over us by growing our small dollar donor base.
